Introducing Trudy Dacey: Senior Trainer at PAWS Darwin and Heart Dogs NT
Trudy Dacey has been a dedicated volunteer with PAWS Darwin for several years, contributing her time, skills, and passion across many facets of our community. Her involvement spans the Heart Dogs NT initiative and various training programs, where her expertise and commitment have made a lasting impact.
As the leader of our Puppy School Guardianship program, Trudy has guided countless young dogs and their families toward successful partnerships, ensuring strong foundations for their futures. In 2024, when Lisa Hansen faced a personal health challenge, Trudy stepped into the role of Head Trainer with unwavering determination. Her leadership, adaptability, and dedication during this time have been nothing short of inspiring.
In her role as Senior Trainer, Trudy also plays a crucial part in fostering and preparing service dog candidates. She works tirelessly to ensure these exceptional dogs are ready to meet the rigorous standards required to support individuals in need. Her ability to nurture, train, and guide service dogs is a testament to her skill and compassion.
We are thrilled to officially welcome Trudy as a Senior Trainer and are deeply grateful for the wealth of knowledge, experience, and heart she brings to this role. Thank you, Trudy, for your ongoing contributions to PAWS Darwin and Heart Dogs NT!
