With cleanable floors and surrounded by gardens and parks, with the added bonus of a roof, the rain should never be an issue.
This is an on lead only class that provides foundations for happy healthy dogs and good handler -dog bonds.
Dogs love structure, they love it when you are confident and happy because they don’t have to look out for you.
Dogs love good communications and when all these things come together you the guardian can enjoy an enriched and positive relationship with your dog.
Please book in for our foundations course first so that you are skilled up and ready to go.
Reactive dogs are welcome but trainers will be monitoring stress levels carefully to ensure that all dogs are safe and that your dog has a positive experience. Please ensure your leads, collars and harness are secure and that there is no risk of escape. You must identify your self first and attend a Canine Guardian Foundation course prior to starting class
Canine Guardian Foundations
Our Canine Guardian Foundations program aims to support you through those first weeks of taking home a new pet. Our program covers all the basics:
Reward Markers and how they work
Getting focus
How dogs learn
How to teach resilience
Important health information including but not limited to
Diseases that can be issues for adult dogs
Tick diseases and how to best prevent them
Question and answer time for anyone who wants to know and understand more about their dog and it’s behaviour
How you can do the best by your pet.
Prerequisite for all Canine Guardian Classes
Canine Guardian Novice
Our Canine Guardian Novice Program is a 4 week commitment that covers 8 foundation exercises to set you on the path to great focus

At the end of your 4 week commitment you can expect that your dog will be calm around new people and dogs
Be able to focus on you
Be ready to learn recall and other important life saving skills
Be ready to learn some fun tricks and games that build focus and confidence.
Remember that a confident dog is not a reactive dog because they are resilient and happy for new adventures.
Certificate of completion after 4 weeks
Canine Guardians Intermediate
Our Canine Guardians Intermediate program is a minimum four week commitment, and while you can turn up casually to get the most out of this program you will need to attend for the first four weeks. After that you can just show up and join.

Every 5 weeks our Canine Guardians Instructors take you and your pet for a walk, covering:

The aim for this class is loose lead walking your way.
