Want to build life skills for you and your dog ? Then this class is for you !
With opportunity for off lead play, this class is great for dogs who are already social and just need some life skills. Reactive dogs are also welcome but we ask first time in, you leave the dog at the car and come and get the instructor to help bring your dog into the playground.

With cleanable floors and surrounded by gardens and parks, with the added bonus of a roof, the rain should never be an issue.
Canine Guardian Classes
This is an on lead only class that provides foundations for happy healthy dogs and good handler -dog bonds.
Dogs love structure, they love it when you are confident and happy because they don’t have to look out for you.
Dogs love good communications and when all these things come together you the Guardian can enjoy an enriched and positive relationship with your dog.
Reactive dogs are welcome but Trainers will be monitoring stress levels carefully to ensure that all dogs are safe and that your dog has a positive experience. Please ensure your leads, collars and harness are secure and that there is no risk of escape. You must identify your self prior to starting class
One on One coaches are available for Reactive Dogs, these Dogs must be booked in. These sessions will cost $60 per dog per session go to forms to book a session, times may be different from class times.

Use this training log book to set goals and see how well you and your dog are doing, we will help you keep records of what you have already achieved.
You will need :
- Whatever training equipment you currently use to walk your
dog. - A treat bag and treats- we will have some available for purchase on the day
- A personal water bowl for your dog- while we make water and bowls available we ask when possible that you bring your own to reduce risk of kennel cough.
- A positive attitude
Mats are available to be purchased at classes. A range of inexpensive leads and collars, treat bags and water bowls are also available at classes. Moondiddley products are available for purchase on the day. We love Moondiddley products and use them for all our dogs. We are grateful to Moondiddley for their sponsorship.

Puppy Guardianship Program- Bookings Essential- register for more details
We provide an informative environment to discuss everything puppy ! Puppies who attend preschool learn social skills with a range of different animals, people and situations. Puppies must be aged between 8 weeks and 5 months to attend and need to have had their first vaccinations (proof of vaccination is required prior to commencement of the course). The Guardianship program focuses on the puppy Parent and helps them to travel the road of information. This class is run by an experienced trainer with experience in many aspects of professional pet care.
Puppies will have an opportunity to play and learn bite inhibition while their Guardians will learn about resilience in puppies and how it will help them in every aspect of their life.
By providing a wider range of socialisation aspects this program helps pet owners overcome the changes between cute puppy and troublesome teenager. We give you the tools to begin placing controls and get on track to a polite and well mannered family dog ! Socialisation is such a broad topic and at PAWS Darwin Puppy Schools we want to help your puppy be the best it can be. With off lead play times and an opportunity to learn bite inhibition puppy schools are essential for all puppies. A free Puppy Guardianship booklet by Lisa Hansen is available for all registrations.

Puppies must have first vaccination and can be aged between 8 weeks and 5 months. Please carry them into the class location to avoid contact with unknown diseases. All puppies must be tick treated.
Saturday morning Puppy Guardianship Program

A graduation PAck is given at the end of class as well as one free ticket to our Any Dog class at 9:30 am
Free for PAWS foster puppies, and puppies adopted through PAWS Darwin as long as they have passed Quarantine.
